Looking for a Guardsquare Alternative?
Guardsquare Alternative:
Hardening Is Not Fraud Decisioning.
Guardsquare ships strong obfuscation and RASP through DexGuard and iXGuard. NonaShield includes RASP as one of nine layers, plus device fingerprinting, behavioural risk, agentic AI investigation, and hardware-backed evidence — one console instead of RASP plus a separate fraud stack.
RASP Stops Tampering. It Doesn't Score Risk.
Guardsquare's own site describes DexGuard (Android) and iXGuard (iOS) as multilayered, polymorphic obfuscation with built-in RASP, AppSweep for security testing, ThreatCast for real-time threat monitoring, and app attestation for API security. What isn't publicly documented there: device fingerprinting, a behavioural risk engine, fraud/graph intelligence, or hardware-backed cryptographic evidence. Teams using Guardsquare for hardening typically run a separate stack for fraud decisioning and evidence.

Should You Actually Switch?
You need fraud decisioning — device identity, behavioural risk, evidence for disputes — and don't want to run that as a second vendor alongside RASP.
Your priority is deep code obfuscation and hardening of the app binary, and you already have a separate fraud-decisioning stack you're happy with.
Questions to ask when comparing NonaShield and Guardsquare
A fair comparison starts with the job you need done. Use these questions with any vendor, including us.
- Does it protect the app at runtime, or only before release?
- Is the device identified by a hardware-backed key, or by a stored ID?
- Who makes the fraud decision, and can you see why it was made?
- Is there signed evidence you can hand to a regulator or use in a dispute?
- What does it cost with every feature you need switched on?
- Can you pilot it beside your current tool and compare results?
Cost and effort
NonaShield is a flat $599 a month (about ₹6 lakh a year) and includes RASP, device fingerprinting, identity and evidence. When you compare with Guardsquare, add up every product you would need to cover the same ground, plus the integration and operations time for each. See the RASP pricing page.
Moving over
- Run NonaShield beside Guardsquare on a small share of traffic.
- Compare detections, false positives and time to integrate.
- Move the flows where fraud decisioning matters most first.
- Retire overlapping tools once the results are clear.

One SDK. No Rip-and-Replace of Your Fraud Stack.
NonaShield is a single SDK integration — you're not stitching together a separate fingerprinting vendor, risk engine, and evidence system on top of it. Talk to us about your current Guardsquare setup and we'll walk through what moves over and what's new.
